The Champions League returns this week with a brand-new look.
The competing teams have increased from 32 to 36, with each club playing eight fixtures unique to them. The new format is designed to make matches during the league phase a level playing field.
So will we see the lesser lights shine, or will Europe’s traditional heavyweights prevail?
